Can I change my alias / nickname?
You can change your alias/nickname on your first log in and then every 6 months thereafter. You may request a change under special circumstances such as it containing private information.
How many tables can I play at once?
You can play up to 16 tables simultaneously.
How do tournaments differ from Cash Tables?
To participate in a tournament players have to sign up and pay a buy-in fee and house fee prior to playing. The house fee is usually around 10% of the buy-in.
For the fixed tournament fee, each player receives the same number of tournament chips. The blinds and antes at every table in play increase periodically at pre-determined intervals. This is to ensure that the tournament reaches a conclusion.
Prizes are typically awarded to the top percentage of surviving players from the field - usually between 10 and 20% of the field. The pay-out structure of any tournament can be reviewed in the lobby once you are seated and playing. To do this, click on the lobby, find the tournament you are in, and then click on 'Prize Pool'.
In 'freezeout tournaments' players can't purchase any additional chips beyond the starting stack. However, in rebuy tournaments players can buy more chips if they lose their starting chips, and also often 'top-up' at the end of the set rebuy period.
Very simply, Cash Games are games where the chips on the table represent their actual cash value. The blinds and/or antes stay at exactly the same level, and you can re-buy at any point if you drop below a certain number of chips. You can also 'cash out' at any point in Cash Games, whereas tournaments must be played until you run out of chips or win the game.
Can my tournament token be exchanged for cash?
Sorry to say that the tokens are not transferrable or redeemable so it's very important that you look ahead to the tournaments that you are playing into to make sure you can ultimately participate. If you don't use them you lose them.
What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of a game?
If you are accidentally disconnected from the server during a game, your hand will be folded when your allocated time to make a decision has expired.
If you are playing on a cash table you will automatically be sat out until you return and choose to post blinds again. Until you return you won't pay any blinds.
If you were in a tournament you will continue to pay your blinds when it is your turn to do so. Your hands will be automatically folded without using a time bank first.
If you are connected using a wireless router you will need to ensure that this provides a consistently reliable connection that is required by our poker client.
Please also make sure that either your firewall or antivirus programs are not interrupting the download process. A manually added entry to the relevant allowed programs lists will eliminate this possibility.
If you would like us to investigate the disconnection, please contact Customer Services using the 'Message Us' button below to investigate the hand. You will need to provide either the game number (hand ID), the table you were playing on, the tournament that you were in or the precise time that you were disconnected.

What happens if I run out of chips during a game?
To bring more chips to the table using money already in your balance, click on the add chips icon.
Though you can buy more chips in the middle of a game round, you can't use them until the round is over. Also, if by buying chips in the middle of a round and then winning the round, you end up with more chips than the table maximum allows, the extra chips will be removed from play and their value returned to your balance.
